LimitlessGG won ESWC Africa by INWI and $7,000
The first edition of ESWC Africa by Inwi ended on Sunday night with the victory of the Counter-Strike:GO team LimitlessGG. The Tunisians were crowned champions on stage in Casablanca in front of several hundred spectators. They win $ 7,000 after a thrilling final against local Moroccan team Atlas Lions.
Indeed, after a first game won 16 to 7 by the Tunisians, Atlas Lions pushed their opponent in overtime in the second game. Despite all their efforts, the Moroccans had to give in to the superiority and the experience of the LimitlessGG, which finally won 19 to 17.
Earlier in the day, both teams had won their ticket to the final by winning the other two teams qualified for the event. The local players from Atlas Lions had won their semifinal against the Tunisians eXtreme 2 to 0, and LimitlessGG had won against the Algerians from Game of Throw on the same score.
