The ESWC is the event that stands out in the competitive gaming calendar and this year will be no exception as the greatest players from around the world converge on San Jose, California for the ESWC Grand Finals. The four disciplines being contested in the United Arab Emirates qualifiers and finals are : * Counter Strike 1.6 (team 5v5) * Trackmania Nations ESWC (individual) * Quake III (individual 1v1) * Warcraft III : The Frozen Throne (individual 1v1) The UAE will be staged at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre over the dates of 25th, 26th and 27th May within the Gamezone which is part of the International CES Hometech exhibition. Joining them will be the players contesting the Quake III and Warcraft III : TFT disciplines.
